is it murder when, feeding tube removed

I was going though my school work; putting away old papers, to make room for new. I came across this article on the legality of removing a feeding tube. This article written by June Maxam was sparked by a 60 Minutes segment.  The 60 minutes segment showed a few cases of people in a minimally conscious state with some recovery. What sparked me to blog this, is that in this totally bios article she was wrong, mistaken or totally ignorant. I have no problem people with people expressing them self on a such debatable topic of Terri Schindler Schiavo, but get the facts right.

In the second paragraph she made made a huge error in my mind, that lost the legitimacy of the whole article.

"On CBS’ “60 Minutes”, Sunday night, a segment was aired about the remarkable recovery of two patients who too had been deemed in a persistent vegetative state with no chance of recovery but who DID and ARE recovering. Because of Michael Schiavo and George Greer, Terri was never given a chance, denied all therapy and rehab for more than a dozen years before Schiavo was successful in removing her feeding tube to intentionally cause her death."

If you watch the video you realize that one of them died. So her statement of two patients did and still recovering is false. I also think it is funny how she capitalize the words "did" and "are" to put an enthuses on her point, which is totally wrong.

While writing this post, it began to bother me so much, not weather removing a feeding tube was right or wrong (what i planned to blog about), but this article i mentions. So much so that i wrote an email to the author,  news@northcountrygazette.org;

that went like this:

"This is in regards to the following article by By June Maxam, Media Still Trying To Justify Killing Of Terri Schiavo (http://www.northcountrygazette.org/news/2007/11/26/justify_killing/)

 My question to the author is how do you expect any one to take this article seriously. It not that the article is completely biased and one sided, but the facts are wrong. I don't know if it is just a typo mistake, or the author was ignorant enough to miscue the fact to her favor.

My concern is with the second paragraph of the article, where the author referenced the 60 Minutes segment.

"On CBS’ “60 Minutes”, Sunday night, a segment was aired about the remarkable recovery of two patients who too had been deemed in a persistent vegetative state with no chance of recovery but who DID and ARE recovering."

If you forgot, you can we watch the video (http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/i_video/main500251.shtml?id=3530838n) I found it ironic that the author used Capitals to emphasise on a wrong statement. The wrong being that two patients are still recovering, but in reality, in that video one of them died. So how can they be recovering?

Because of this, i feel as this article has no legitimacy or weight, and i feel as it should be corrected or made noted of.
"

i hope it does get corrected, but want to encourage others to voice there opinion
